Earth Wind & Fire & Santana tour rescheduled
Almost inevitably, Earth Wind & Fire have announced the rescheduling of their joint USA tour with Santana until next year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The tour was supposed to kick off in the coming weeks, but will now begin on 18 June 2021 at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista, California. The 29 date tour will end in Tampa, Florida at the end of August 2021.
At the moment there are no plans to take the tour outside of the USA, which was also the case for their previous joint tours with Chicago. However both bands did tour Europe and beyond seperately.
Earth Wind & Fire have still been active during these unprecident times, performing - in isolation - on The Stephen Colbert show in the USA. Watch HERE
They have also released several recordings of their "Zoom meetings" with Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Ralph Johnson and "new member" Anthony "Spice" Adams, aka "Water". Check out EWF's Twitter page for these and more.
